Our Comfort & Confidence Promise

Before, During, & After Your Visit
Ocean Shore Dentistry is a people-first dental practice. Our goal is to ensure your comfort during treatment and your confidence long after you leave our office. We provide evidence-based care designed to support long-lasting oral health. As with all dental treatment, results depend on ongoing care and maintenance.

Dental Warranty Disclaimer

Warranty coverage is contingent upon compliance with doctor-recommended care and must be documented by your treating dentist.

Because every patient’s oral health needs are unique, recommended treatments, care intervals, and warranty coverage are determined by your doctor and may vary from patient to patient. Failure to follow the prescribed care plan may limit or void warranty coverage.

Care Requirements for Warranty Coverage

Home Care

Patients are expected to follow the daily home-care plan recommended by their doctor, including brushing, flossing, fluoride use, and any prescribed products, to support the durability of their dental treatment.

Routine Preventive Visits

Patients must maintain regular preventive visits with our office. These appointments include an examination, professional cleaning, necessary X-rays, and, when appropriate, fluoride treatment. Based on individual oral health needs, preventive visits may be recommended every 3, 4, or 6 months.

Ocean Shore Dentistry provides the following limited dental warranties when care requirements are met.

Dental Sealants

Sealants are protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of teeth to help prevent decay in pits and grooves. It’s still important to floss daily and use fluoride to prevent decay between teeth, as these areas are not protected by sealants. We offer complimentary repair or replacement of sealants for up to two years from the date they are applied.

Fillings (Tooth-Colored & Silver)

If a dental filling placed in our office fails or fractures under normal use within two years of placement, we will repair or replace it at no cost.

If the tooth fractures within these two years and now requires additional treatment, such as a crown or onlay, we will apply the cost of the filling as a credit toward that recommended service. *Please note: If a crown is the recommended treatment, and you choose a large filling instead, this warranty does not apply.*

Crowns, Bridges, Inlays, Onlays, and Porcelain Veneers

We provide a five-year warranty on these services. If they chip, break, or develop decay during this period under normal use, we will repair or replace them at no charge.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from accidents, trauma, or conditions that would also damage natural teeth.

Root Canals

Root canal treatments have a high success rate, but occasionally a tooth may not respond as expected. If the treated tooth is lost within three years due to root canal failure, we will apply the original root canal fee as a credit toward a replacement option recommended by the doctor (such as a bridge, implant, or partial denture).

Dentures and Partial Dentures

Dentures and partial dentures are warranted for three years if a tooth or flange chips or breaks under normal use. This warranty does not cover accidental damage, including drops or improper handling.

Patients with full upper and lower dentures must be seen every 12 months for a routine check-up to evaluate denture fit and soft-tissue health.

Patients who still have natural teeth and wear partial dentures must attend their recommended routine preventive visits to maintain warranty eligibility.

Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

Coverage does not apply if:
• Routine preventative visits are not maintained with our office
• Recommended treatment is declined and an alternative option is chosen
• Accidental trauma damages, natural teeth or dental restorations
• Dentures or partials are damaged due to improper handling
